Supreme Court OK's President's Violation Of Civil Rights

In 1944, the US Supreme Court validated the internment of the Japanese, and US citizens of Japanese descent. It has not retreated from that ruling, as far as I am aware. The case is:

Korematsu v. United States

Look it up on Google. Anything that's being done by the current administration that might violate certain civil rights is small potatoes to the "Civilian Exclusion Order No. 34 of the Commanding General of the Western Command, U.S. Army" which required the internment of all Japanese for the course of the war.
Interestingly enough, there were allowances made. The most obvious was the creation of the 442 Regimental Combat Team, made up of almost entirely Japanese Americans. This unit fought in Europe, and was the most decorated unit in the US Army during WW2.
So if you don't want to be subjected to investigations by the government, maybe joining the Army would be a good idea. Heh-Heh.

Credit Protection Going Out The Window?

Reading this piece on HR 4127 is a little scary. If congress proceeds with this idea, it should get the lot of them kicked out in the next election.
I do object to the inclusion of the gun maker protection law as part of the argument, however.
Gun makers and gun shops are still liable for the bad acts of individuals who illegally obtain a gun, ie if the shop fails to go through the required background check for gun ownership.
But overall the story on identity protection needs to be brought out into the public spotlight now, more than ever.

Warantless Searches OK For Clinton, But Not Bush?

Check out this old link to Drudge. Bill Clinton was OK with warantless searches in 1994 & 1995. Jimmy Carter was OK with them in 1979. Where was the outrage from the Left back then?
Or is it because anything George Bush does is bad? Just asking.

Mideast Countries Still Don't Get It

So now Syria is helping Iran. What else is new? I've said many times that these guys aren't too bright. Living in the desert for a lifetime apparently fries the brain. What part of "we won't allow Iran to become nuclear capable" don't they understand?
And the larger question: If we used the ridiculous reason of WMD's to invade Iraq, what makes the idiots in charge in Iran and Syria think we won't hesitate for a moment to nail them to the cross (love that metaphor) if necessary?
Of course, Syria would be easier, militarily. It would only take a day or two. But Iran might be the better catch in the long run. The young people there have had a large taste of Western life, and now with their leader trying to clamp down on everything relating to the USA, it might be a good move to encourage an insurrection, with our help. Iraq could help!!! Gotta Love that.
The "Den Of Thieves" has now admitted they are in cahoots. What a bunch of loons.
It makes me happy, knowing we now have the right to trash them if necessary.

The Mexicans Hate The Idea Of A Wall?

I'm loving this piece by AP writer Mark Stevenson, about the reaction in Mexico to the plans to build a fence between the USA and Mexico. There are a lot of stupid quotes from people who seem to be living in a vacuum. Or they don't watch FOX. The entire piece shows a blatant disregard for the wants and needs of the people of the US, who have been inundated by a quiet invasion from the south.
So let's set the record straight. By the way, I lived in Southern California up until last year, so I have direct knowledge of what I am speaking of here. I will address the piece in the order it is written.
The first paragraph says that there are rights violations in the US. Well now. Whose rights? The illegals? As far as I'm concerned, if a person enters our country illegally (or any other country for that matter) that person is a criminal and has no rights. The next sentence says:

"Facing a growing tide of anti-immigrant sentiment north of the border...."

There's the bias, right there in print, paragraph number one. Anti-immigrant? Where does that come from? The fence is meant to keep out ILLEGAL immigrants. Get that Mark? ILLEGAL!

Next paragraph: The wall is stupid? Waiting as long as we have has been stupid.

Next: Ill feelings? How about the ill feelings of the people of the border states in the US? We have had to put up with crime, drugs, multiple families living in one residence, MARIACHI MUSIC, bad drivers (with fake licenses and no insurance), multi-lingual signs-pamphlets-newspapers-ballots-product labeling-school documents-et al (costing who knows how much wasted money), the blight of TAGGERS and their ridiculous gang graffitti, hodgepodge locating of "Little Tijuana's" here and there in large urban areas which then cause: white flight (farther and farther from the center of the city), bad roads and other city services because the infested areas no longer pay enough taxes to warrant such support....I could go on. But you must get the idea.

Next: The LEGAL workers will not be affected by this fence.

Next: Robledo is correct, hopefully. The idea of the fence is to hinder ILLEGAL immigration.

Next: See above as to why the fence is being proposed.

Next: Small business has been a party to the ILLEGAL immigrant problem. That must change.

Next: Anti-immigrant? Try Anti-ILLEGAL immigrant.

Next: Robledo has no right to claim his right to enter the USA illegally. Culture or not.

Next: Immigration backlash? ILLEGAL immigration backlash.

Next: We see enough news about the corruption in the police and the government of Mexico to know that the PR firm is fighting a BIG uphill battle.

Next: Go further by stopping your people from attempting ILLEGAL border crossings.

Next: Mexico's government could confront the US, by using the oil card. Sounds like extortion.

Next: There will always be do-gooders who don't see the larger, more important picture.

Next: Defence of migrants? Non-sequeter. The fence will stop the ILLEGALS.

Next: Same as above. ILLEGALS should not receive any compensation for anything.

Next: Only ILLEGALS will be affected. Hopefully felony charges will stem the tide.

Next: Again, helping migrants will not be a crime, only ILLEGALS.

Next: Thank You, Bill O'Reilly

Next: The Berlin Wall kept people in, not out. It prevented people from escaping East German tyranny. There is zero comparison in this case. By the way, who are the "many"?

Next: Mr. Vasquez should keep quiet. He's OK. But if he advocates breaking US law, he becomes a criminal, in my mind.

I would challenge anybody, especially the writer and his cohort, Victor Bermudez to disprove anything I've said here.

AP Writer Doesn't Have A Good Grasp On History (Or English)

Ryan Lenz, AP writer doesn't have a clue, it appears. He writes a piece about the finding of buried weapons in Iraq. He quotes an American soldier involved:

"This is the mother load, right here," Sgt. Jeremy Galusha, 25, of Dallas, Ore., said, leaning on a shovel after finding more than 20 Soviet missiles.

Anybody see the mistake? California Gold Rush, 1848. Mother what? The term is Mother Lode, not load.

It's sophomoric writing like this that causes me to have no respect for the AP.

Fox News Channel Segment On Torture

I'm watching FOX right now, it's Saturday 12/17/2005. There's this clown David Corn who wrote some book The Nation, I believe it's called. He is arguing against torture and other rough treatment of the bad guys in the war on terror.
The moderator keeps asking him "what about the success of torture in the case of the guy who was going to try to blow up the Brooklyn Bridge?" Instead of answering the question, he rolls off onto a "by and large torture doesn't work" rant.
He was asked the question at least three times. He was also asked about Khalid Sheik Mohammad, who caved almost immediately when "water boarded".
Mr Corn failed to respond, thereby removing any credibility he might have had before the segment started.
These types of individuals like to make all kinds of statements against the government, the military, and the president in the way the terror war is being fought. But when they get their way, and then another attack occurs in the US, they will be the first ones to scream that not enough is being done.

Next Torrorist Attack Right Around The Corner?

The Senate has voted to allow a new terrorist attack on the USA. Read the highlighted piece on the Patriot Act. It will be just a matter of time before some of the bad guys take advantage of the new openings in our safety armor...the Patriot Act.
Fortunately, or not, the Republicans will be able to blame the Dems, mostly.

Good News On Iran's Nuclear Ambitions

I have been talking about the need to preempt Iran's attempts at acquiring the ability to create atomic weapons. I said that we could probably rely on Israel if necessary. Well, the highlighted piece confirms my words.
Read it and be thankful.

Al Qaida Safe House Not So Safe

Thanks to the CIA, and our great technology (in this case the Predator drone system) another Al Qaida dickhead bites the dust. It's great when we can kill the bad guys without risking our own men.
Of course, the Dems won't acknowledge this sort of thing. Especially the Far Left.
