The Mexicans Hate The Idea Of A Wall?

I'm loving this piece by AP writer Mark Stevenson, about the reaction in Mexico to the plans to build a fence between the USA and Mexico. There are a lot of stupid quotes from people who seem to be living in a vacuum. Or they don't watch FOX. The entire piece shows a blatant disregard for the wants and needs of the people of the US, who have been inundated by a quiet invasion from the south.
So let's set the record straight. By the way, I lived in Southern California up until last year, so I have direct knowledge of what I am speaking of here. I will address the piece in the order it is written.
The first paragraph says that there are rights violations in the US. Well now. Whose rights? The illegals? As far as I'm concerned, if a person enters our country illegally (or any other country for that matter) that person is a criminal and has no rights. The next sentence says:

"Facing a growing tide of anti-immigrant sentiment north of the border...."

There's the bias, right there in print, paragraph number one. Anti-immigrant? Where does that come from? The fence is meant to keep out ILLEGAL immigrants. Get that Mark? ILLEGAL!

Next paragraph: The wall is stupid? Waiting as long as we have has been stupid.

Next: Ill feelings? How about the ill feelings of the people of the border states in the US? We have had to put up with crime, drugs, multiple families living in one residence, MARIACHI MUSIC, bad drivers (with fake licenses and no insurance), multi-lingual signs-pamphlets-newspapers-ballots-product labeling-school documents-et al (costing who knows how much wasted money), the blight of TAGGERS and their ridiculous gang graffitti, hodgepodge locating of "Little Tijuana's" here and there in large urban areas which then cause: white flight (farther and farther from the center of the city), bad roads and other city services because the infested areas no longer pay enough taxes to warrant such support....I could go on. But you must get the idea.

Next: The LEGAL workers will not be affected by this fence.

Next: Robledo is correct, hopefully. The idea of the fence is to hinder ILLEGAL immigration.

Next: See above as to why the fence is being proposed.

Next: Small business has been a party to the ILLEGAL immigrant problem. That must change.

Next: Anti-immigrant? Try Anti-ILLEGAL immigrant.

Next: Robledo has no right to claim his right to enter the USA illegally. Culture or not.

Next: Immigration backlash? ILLEGAL immigration backlash.

Next: We see enough news about the corruption in the police and the government of Mexico to know that the PR firm is fighting a BIG uphill battle.

Next: Go further by stopping your people from attempting ILLEGAL border crossings.

Next: Mexico's government could confront the US, by using the oil card. Sounds like extortion.

Next: There will always be do-gooders who don't see the larger, more important picture.

Next: Defence of migrants? Non-sequeter. The fence will stop the ILLEGALS.

Next: Same as above. ILLEGALS should not receive any compensation for anything.

Next: Only ILLEGALS will be affected. Hopefully felony charges will stem the tide.

Next: Again, helping migrants will not be a crime, only ILLEGALS.

Next: Thank You, Bill O'Reilly

Next: The Berlin Wall kept people in, not out. It prevented people from escaping East German tyranny. There is zero comparison in this case. By the way, who are the "many"?

Next: Mr. Vasquez should keep quiet. He's OK. But if he advocates breaking US law, he becomes a criminal, in my mind.

I would challenge anybody, especially the writer and his cohort, Victor Bermudez to disprove anything I've said here.

I'll be back
