Terrorists Getting Back To Business

Well, at least for now the terrorists don't look ready to give up. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's group has stated:

``Your brothers in the al-Qaida organization ... will continue the jihad (holy war) until the banner of (Islamic) unity flutters over Iraq,''.....

Doesn't sound like it's over. In addition, I have read that this guy (Zarqawi) was in custody a couple of weeks ago. The Iraqis who had him let him go. Mistake? I doubt it. The corruption is still there.

Ted Kennedy has insisted we need to make a public statement of a timetable for the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq.
I sort of agree...but it needs to be a private decision, kind of a behind the scenes warning to the new Iraqi leaders. We need them to get their house in order, as our troops will be needed in other areas very soon. Hear that Syria?
Syria is the reason the insurgents have been able to continue with their activities. It costs money to make bombs, and buy ammunition. Our government needs to confront the Syrians with their potential doom if they continue to support the fight.

Here's the link to the Zarqawi words:

I'll be back
