Images of Mohammad An Issue?

This link to Michelle Malkin's site is a very valuable tool for those who think the Islamic crazies take themselves way too seriously. Check it out.

More On The Self Destruction Of The Donkey Part

Here is a short piece from Roll Call:

"Dean Comes Under FireDNC Finances Cause Concern By Erin P. Billings and Lauren W. WhittingtonRoll Call StaffJanuary 30, 2006Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill are privately bristling over Howard Dean’s management of the Democratic National Committee and have made those sentiments clear after new fundraising numbers showed he has spent nearly all the committee’s cash and has little left to support their efforts to gain seats this cycle."

They're not handling the Bush presidency very well, are they?

Dem's Infighting Good News For GOP

In the last week or so, the chinks in the armor of the Democrat Party have turned into gaping holes. With several more moderate Dems siding with President Bush on the Alito confirmation, and new revelations from Teddy (Chapaquiddick Kid) Kennedy's associates about his antics in the past have shown that some of the Dems are losing faith in the direction their party is taking. The vitriol and misinformation thrown about by the Radical Left of the party have taken their toll. The general public doesn't take anything said by them seriously anymore.
Maybe the Radicals should follow in the footsteps of Jim Jones' followers.

Middle East Still The Same, After 3,000 Years

So there's violence in the Middle East. What else is new? The only thing that has "civilized" the area is the fact that oil is under the ground. It will be great when the oil runs out, and we don't have to be involved there.
What's really interesting is that the Palestinians receive aid from the US government, to the tune of a billion dollars a year. Hopefully that will end.

Putting Pressure On The Families Of Terrorists

As you may know, I am in favor of using whatever means necessary to catch the bad guys of the world, even up to jailing the families of terrorists. Now it turns out the US Army agrees with me.
Whatever works. It's them or us.

Al Gore Stepping On Canadian Toes

Well I guess Al Gore isn't really serious when he says the president should try to keep good relations with our allies. I remember during the last election campaign, when the Dems (Gore included) made a big deal about how George Bush had ignored the wishes of our allies in the way he ran the country, particularly in the Iraq business.
Now Gore is attacking our closest (geographically) ally, or at least its new leader. Way to go Al. Maybe you can win as prez next time, and then try to smooth things out with Canada.

More Shenanigans By Mexico

Read this piece about drugs, the border and the Mexican authorities. Then compare it to what is being said by the Left, in their spouting of "protecting the innocents" in their fight against a fence on the US/Mexico border.
Enough is enough.

Another "Celebrity" With Foot In Mouth Disease

So now Star Jones is an expert on world affairs. Her comments are ridiculous, and serve to further marginalize those who are against using the US military for anything at all. I suppose that if we negotiate, those killed on 9/11 will be somehow brought back to life?

More Evidence Of Lack Of Parenting

The linked piece about college student's lack of what I consider rudimentary life skills is yet another example of parents failing to properly train their kids for a normal life. The sorts of things listed should be learned when a child is ten. Not after graduating from college.

A Harsh Lesson In Parenting

So John Walker Lindh (the American Taliban) is a good kid? That's what I get from his father's pleading for clemency. We all try to raise our kids properly. But the idea that good parenting created this type of person, who would go on a crusade into Afghanistan to fight his own country is a little far fetched. My kid hated me too, but now attends Iowa State, instead of Taliban U.
The most likely scenario is this: The parents read some sort of book or took advice that told them that "self esteem" is the most important thing for a child. No reprimanding. No punishment. No competition. No goals. No real achievement.
Note to parents: The kid's friends need to be monitored. The kid's after school activities need to be monitered, and even regimented (sports is a good way). Demand that the child try hard. Success isn't just measured by victory. It is measured by effort.
Stay active in your child's life. Be there for the sports, and the performances. If you are able, try coaching. Take the time. Life is short. Your kid can be an FBI agent. Your kid can be a bank robber. It's up to you as a parent to guide your child's future.
Don't ask the president of the United States to help your child. Unless your child is being nominated as a member of the Supreme Court, or the president's cabinet.

Finally France Shows Some Guts

Now France's leader Chirac has stated that the use of nuclear weapons is possible in the event of a terrorist attack on that country. That's good news to me, as I've advocated such use by US forces when necessary. Now the international outcry against us in that event would be greatly reduced, noting that France has led the way many times in criticizing US military actions.

Looks Like We Have The Cockroaches In Our Sites

So Bin Laden has responded to our attack on his cronies? It looks like the roaches and rats are running for cover. Note that the piece I have highlighted has the typical incorrect spelling of his first name, Osama which is actually Usama. Normal for a left wing website.
Hopefully our response to his request for a truce will be what Anthony C McCauliffe answered at Bastogne, when the Germans demanded the surrender of the American forces surrounded in the town in 1944: NUTS!!!!

Senators Walk Out On Alito Hearings...Take Away Their Votes

Thanx to Michelle Malkin for this piece on the Alito hearings. Read it, and think about this: If the Senators who walked out on the statements being made by U.S. Appeals Court Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, they obviously don't really care whether or not judge Alito is qualified. That being said, I would suggest they not be allowed to participate in the up or down vote on Alito's affirmation, as they don't know all of the pertinent facts. It is they who are not qualified to judge the judge.
