The Way Of The Terrorists: Pointless Lives, Pointless Deaths

This piece by DJ Drummond is quite well thought out. It should get the Liberals thinking.
But it probably won't.

NASA Is A Bunch Of Bozo's

I am amazed that with all the publicity about the reason for the last Space Shuttle disaster, the idiots in charge of the program didn't do anything to stop the falling foam, which is what caused the Columbia shuttle to be damaged and ultimately destroyed on re-entry.
This dope Michael Griffin of NASA says this:

"``we made a mistake'' in not addressing the area of the external fuel tank where a piece of foam broke off shortly after Discovery's launch on Tuesday"

HUH?????????????????????

The entire world knows what caused the last shuttle crash. Oh, except the morons at NASA.

More Stupid Headlines on Netscape

Here's an interesting headline I found on the Netscape website. According to what is printed there, the dead soldier was upset. Damn right he was upset! He was dead. But I doubt he had any feelings about the lieutenant governor being at his funeral.

"GI's Kin Angry Official At FuneralWritten apologies will be sent to the family of a dead Marine who was upset that the lieutenant governor appeared uninvited at his funeral."

Just another example of stupid headlines on Netscape.com.

LA Times Coverup

The LA Times printed a piece that claimed President Bush was only considering "White Men" for the Supreme Court, if an opening presented itself. Now The Times is covering things up, not admitting the false statement. Click on the blog from Patterico and check it out.

It Looks Like The Radical Islamics Are Getting Their Wish

As the highlighted piece from The Guardian points out, if the radicals in the Islamic world push enough people, particularly the wrong ones, they will eventually get their wish. Jihad. Crusade. Revenge. The problem for the Islamic world is, there is not very much military power associated with Islam. If an all out war occurs between Christianity and Islam, the final outcome is a forgone conclusion.

More On The BBC, And Their Ilk

Michelle Malkin has written a biting piece that takes to task those who would coddle badness by using euphemisms to describe bad acts.
Read it, please.

BBC Uses Selective Editing

In its ongoing effort to protect the bad guys, the BBC has exorcised the word "terrorist" from the descriptions of the current bombings in London. Here's the "policy":

"The BBC's guidelines state that its credibility is undermined by the "careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments"."

The BBC has to go a lot farther than that to fix its credibility. Here's what a spokesman said:

"A BBC spokesman said last night: "The word terrorist is not banned from the BBC.""

Only when it applies to Muslims.

Washington Post Has Simple Minded Attitude About Unocal Takeover Bid

In this myopic piece, the Washington Post has stated that the effect on the price of oil in the US would be zero, if the Chinese took over Unocal. The newspaper has no clue. It is viewing this as simply a business matter. The Chinese are an extreme threat to US security. There is no question about that. The military buildup by the Chinese over the last 10-15 years is alarming. There is no reason for the Chinese to continue this strategy, other than to fight a war. All the obvious opponents in open conflict for the Chinese are allies of the US. If Taiwan is attacked by the Chinese, the US has already stated it will protect them. If Japan is attacked, same situation.
I don't see China attacking Russia. India is a possibility, but again..a US ally. Letting China have carte blanche to get all the oil it needs from a United States oil company has disastrous implications. Washington Post, get a clue.

China Mad At Us For Protecting Ourselves

This piece about the Chinese criticizing Congress for protecting our assets in a time of extreme uncertainty points out exactly what I have said. The proposed takeover of any United States corporation by a potential enemy is bad. The takeover of a company that provides what can only be considered a vital asset in a wartime situation (oil) is way out of line. Word to the Chinese: Bite Me.

NY Times Writer Agrees With Me, Four Years Late

In this piece in the NY Times, the writer says basically what I have been saying ever since 9/11.
Unless the Muslim community cracks down on their cousins, brothers fathers, etc who have committed to Islamic extremism, then they can kiss their freedoms in the Western World goodbye.
Turn them in. I repeat, turn them in. Otherwise you are as guilty as they. Sound familiar?
